Calderhand brings plumbing, handyman and home-services content together in a coordinated WordPress theme. Show the work you offer, explain assessment costs, introduce your people and let visitors describe the job before you agree the next step.

Edit the business content in its own screen

The included Calderhand Core plugin provides dedicated editors for Services, Projects, People, FAQs, Maintenance plans and Reviews. Use the Media Library for photographs, grouped fields for structured details and ordered rows for tasks, credentials and inclusions. Services, projects and people have individual detail pages; FAQs, plans and reviews appear within page sections.

• Service pages: card summaries, photographs, symptoms, included tasks, assessment labels, exclusions and preparation instructions.
• Project studies: brief, work and outcome, related services, ordered galleries and before/after comparisons.
• People and answers: portraits, biographies, credentials, optional public contact links and topic-filtered FAQs.
• Maintenance plans: independent monthly/yearly amounts, inclusions and a selected-plan enquiry summary.

Make it your business website

Edit and reorder Calderhand sections in the native WordPress page editor. Use the 63 Customizer settings for logo sizing, colours, typography, spacing, header, content grids, footer, social links and mobile controls. Navigation uses native menus. Local fonts and bundled starter images are included, and no paid page builder is required.

The optional starter importer adds pages, business records, posts and images. Homepage, Journal, menu and sample-setting assignment is an explicit choice. A repeated import skips previously mapped records rather than replacing your edits.

Collect an enquiry with useful context

Service buttons carry the selected service into Contact. Plan cards open a dedicated form with the plan and billing preference. Core stores successful requests privately for administrator review and provides request status, optional administrator notifications, CSV export, configurable retention and WordPress personal-data export/erasure integration.

Repair requests can include up to three private JPEG, PNG or WebP job photographs, 5 MB each, subject to your host limits. Protected downloads require an authorized administrator. Notification acceptance is recorded separately from successful storage; configure and test actual email delivery with your host or mail provider.

Requirements and setup

The packages require WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 8.2+. Extract the complete customer download, then upload the inner theme and plugin ZIPs separately. Use Post name permalinks for the starter setup. Hosting, a mail-delivery provider and business content are not supplied.

Calderhand is a hybrid theme with native section blocks, menus and Customizer controls. It is not a full-site-editing theme. Some fixed component wording and more extensive layout changes require a developer; the packages do not include a general form builder.

Preview, documentation and support

Explore the interactive design preview or read the 36-page PDF manual. The hosted preview shows the theme design and navigation; its forms do not send or save requests. Operational features require an installed and configured WordPress site.

Replace sample prices, profiles, reviews and project claims with accurate business information. Code declares GPL-2.0-or-later; separate font and image notices are included. No fixed speed score, ranking, regulatory certification or third-party plugin compatibility is promised.
