Gridavo is a classic electronics WooCommerce theme designed for shops with larger product catalogs. Its structured department navigation, editable promotional blocks and responsive product displays make it easier for customers to move from a category to a product.

Change the appearance in Gridavo Design Studio

Gridavo uses the traditional WordPress Customizer at Appearance → Customize, rather than the block-theme Site Editor. Owners can edit header arrangements, global colors, typography, category navigation, hero artwork and messages, promotional banners, homepage section order, catalog cards, mobile behavior, single-product presentation and footer columns. A page builder is not required for its included layouts.

Optional electronics starter store

Gridavo Core provides an opt-in sample importer designed for a fresh, backed-up test website. Its fictional catalog includes 48 products, eight departments, 24 subcategories, four variable products and eight variations, plus WebP illustrations and three sample buying guides. The importer creates published demonstration products. Do not run it on a live store accepting orders. An existing legacy demo should be reviewed before importing another sample catalog.

WooCommerce manages checkout and payments

Products, inventory, variations, cart, checkout, payment gateways, taxes, shipping, customer accounts and emails remain handled by WooCommerce and the seller’s extensions. Gridavo does not include a payment gateway or built-in multi-currency converter. Configure an eligible WooCommerce gateway separately, then test the final store’s checkout type and payment provider in sandbox mode.

Extract the customer download bundle first, then upload the separate theme and plugin ZIP files through the WordPress dashboard. Do not install the outer buyer archive as a theme.

Requirements and licensing

• WordPress 6.4 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer are the package-declared minimums; maintained versions are recommended.
• WooCommerce is required for commerce functionality.
• GPL-2.0-or-later license for theme and Core code; review the included asset notices.

Release note: rc11 is a release-candidate build. Source and mock-browser tests have passed, but live payment callbacks, all Customizer Publish/Reload options, an official WordPress Theme Check, and complete hosted performance compatibility testing have not been certified.

Frequently asked questions

Is a separate page builder required?

No. Gridavo uses the WordPress Customizer and WooCommerce for its included layout.

Can I sell real products immediately after installing?

Set up real product data, gateway, taxes and shipping, and complete your own staging transaction tests before taking customer orders. The optional sample products are fictional.

Does Gridavo support multiple customer currencies?

WooCommerce lets merchants choose a default store currency. A visitor-facing multi-currency selector needs a compatible dedicated plugin and payment configuration.

Is the online preview a functioning store?

No. It demonstrates the layout and selected interactions, with no real orders or payments.
