What’S Included

  • sitemeld-0.4.1.zip — installable WordPress block theme
  • sitemeld-companion-0.4.1.zip — optional companion plugin for starter import, projects and contact forms

Installation

  1. Create a full site and database backup. First test on a fresh staging site.
  2. In WordPress, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme; select sitemeld-0.4.1.zip and activate it.
  3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin; select sitemeld-companion-0.4.1.zip and activate.
  4. Go to Appearance > SiteMeld Setup and choose Business, Creative, Photography, Shop or Services.
  5. Explicitly approve importing demo content and assigning its homepage. The importer does not silently replace user content.
  6. Appearance > Editor: review page content, navigation, templates, headers and footers; customize Global Styles.
  7. Appearance > SiteMeld Design and Appearance > SiteMeld Footer: adjust available theme options.
  8. For ecommerce, install WooCommerce and complete its official store setup. Forms require working outgoing mail configuration.
  9. Replace example text, fictional identities, sample products and illustration assets before running a public site.

Compatibility & Limitations

  • WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 7.4+ declared in the theme; newer stable versions recommended.
  • No paid plugin, Enfold source code, or Enfold assets are included.
  • This is a FREE EVALUATION RELEASE. Its ZIP structure and PHP syntax have been checked, but activation, Site Editor persistence, demo import, browser compatibility, mail delivery and full WooCommerce checkout have not been validated on a clean public WordPress installation.
  • The five demo concepts are WordPress starter layouts, not 45 finished independent demo websites. The standalone online preview is a design simulation, not a running WordPress store.
  • Bundled demo images should be treated as illustrative concept assets. Review rights and replace imagery as needed before redistribution or client deployment.
  • Contact forms depend on your server email configuration; WooCommerce is optional and needs separate setup.
  • Use on staging or evaluation environments until verified for your specific setup.

Theme and companion plugin source code: GPL-2.0-or-later. Their individual LICENSE and source files are included in the inner ZIPs.
