Journey Lane

A travel journal built around your stories

Journey Lane is a photography-first WordPress theme for travel bloggers, independent writers and destination storytellers. Its calm editorial layout pairs large travel images with readable articles, an author sidebar and a considered footer, giving your content room to speak.

From the first photograph to the next destination

• A flexible editorial homepage: introduce your journal, highlight selected posts, display recent stories and help readers discover destinations.
• Destination collections: group posts by place with the included Companion plugin, add destination photographs and link readers to real destination archives.
• Photography and reading layouts: gallery pages, grid/list archives, featured images, article navigation, related stories and optional reading aids.
• A useful right sidebar: author introduction, recent stories, categories and a dedicated social-profile block, or your own WordPress widget arrangement.
• Social profiles and article sharing: outlined, minimal or solid profile icons; global account URLs and a configurable social widget. Article sharing is separate from profile links.
• Responsive header controls: sticky-header settings, search and a drawer menu for phone and tablet widths up to 1024px.

Make the design your own

Use the native WordPress Customizer to adjust branding, colors, typography settings, spacing, content widths, homepage sections, archive layouts, article options, author presentation, social profiles and footer content. Edit your stories and normal page content with the WordPress block editor. The supplied layouts do not require Elementor or WPBakery.

Start with content you can replace

The optional demo importer provides 12 example travel stories, bundled travel photographs, categories, destinations, pages and navigation. Its dashboard reports readiness and saved progress, then processes the import in steps with pause/resume controls. Homepage, menu and featured-post assignments are explicit choices, so you can retain existing site settings.

Test the theme on staging with your content and plugins before launching.

Social buttons link to your profiles and do not fetch social feeds. Journey Lane is a publishing theme, rather than a booking system or ecommerce theme.
